Overview of warranty, return, and refund policy

Our return and refund policy for clothing and equipemnt items (not including PIKLBAL Paddles) are good for up to 30 days aftre delivery of purchased items. If 30 days (or more) have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. Paddles have a 30 day money back guarantee explained below.

Paddle Warranty Policy:

We offer the highest quality pickleball paddles supported by our top-notch customer service. 

30-day Trial Period:

All paddles have a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you don’t love it, send it back.

All paddles have a Limited 90-Day Warranty against manufacturer defects and workmanship of the paddle.

  • The warranty is non-transferable and only valid to the original purchaser.
  • Proof of purchase is required (bank & credit card statements can be used).
  • PIKLBAL may exercise the right to determine whether a paddle is covered by our warranty and whether to replace it.

 

What is not covered by our warranty?

  • Normal wear and tear, abuse, and negligence.
  • Any modifications made to the paddle after purchasing.
  • Fading of graphics.
  • Hitting other objects (other than the pickleball) such as the ground or other paddles (this can weaken the paddle or loosen the edge guard).
  • Not being the original purchaser
  • Buying from a non-authorized PIKLBAL dealer

 

How long should a paddle last?

The durability and longevity of a paddle depend on how often and how hard you play.  Some individuals need a new paddle every 3 months, others up to 3+ years. Wear and tear is normal for any paddle and normal usage. For example, the edge guard is a protective barrier that adds perimeter weighting (but from normal use will get scraped and eventually loosen from repeated contact with the ground) and need to be replaced. The grip is another item that over time, again depending on how often you play may need replacement. These latter points are considered wear and tear and not a manufacturers defect. 

Returning Clothing and Equipment (not including Paddles):

To be eligible for a return of clothing and equipment (not including PIKLBAL Paddles), your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please send your purchase back to the return address on your shipment’s packaging slip (p-slip).

There are certain situations where only partial or no refunds are granted for clothing:

  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Any item that appears used or damaged

Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 business days.

Late or missing refunds:

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges:

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged during shipping. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Referee@PIKLBAL.com and send your item to 205 Avenida Del Mar, Unit 843, San Clemente, CA 92672.

Gifts:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit from our online store for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a coupon code will be emailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a coupon code to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns:

To return your product, you should mail your product to 205 Avenida Del Mar, Unit 843, San Clemente, CA 92674. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
